This is my small piece of the web dedicated to what I believe is the greatest, and most moving, anime ever created. Lot's of people like lots of different things, but I believe that Evangelion could encomass them all. It has a profound storyline that incorporates many themes that people could learn a lot from. The characters are not static, act-before-you-think people that deal with everything in a relatively consistent manner. The characters in Eva are very dynamic; they change as the story unfolds, and (for once) they even encompass a conscience- killing something is not a positive resolution. They struggle with the things many of us struggle with, including the search for the self.

I will say this now, if you have not seen the series, or have only seen parts, do not read the Red Cross Book. And for those who have seen the series, some of the things contained within the book may not make much sense, for it was given out with the release of the movies Death and Rebirth. The movies recap the series and change the ending. So if the book refers to Ep. 27, they mean of the movie, not the series.

If you have anything that you would like to add, please e-mail me with it. I can also attempt to answer any of your questions about the series, for I think that I have watched it just a few too many times...
